The libraries have lots of great resources to inspire the birdwatcher, gardener and environmental scientist in you, and there are fun eco school holiday workshops happening for young people aged 12-18.

Upcycling Workshop Reimagine your old T-shirts and turn them into bags! Morning sessions will be held at Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga and Toormina libraries on 5, 6, 7 October. For those keen to learn how to use a sewing machine a new user friendly electronic Brother A16 will be on site for practice.
Eco-product Workshop Make eco-friendly soap bars for yourself and/or as gifts using grounded coffee and essential oils. Afternoon sessions will be held at Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga and Toormina libraries on 5, 6, 7 October. All eco- friendly material provided
Bookings for these workshops are essential. Please notify the library of any dietary requirements when booking.
