Info Day at the University of Sydney

The University of Sydney Info Day will take place on Thursday 18 December from 11am to 3pm. This event is designed for Year 12 students and their supporters to explore the campus and receive valuable information and tailored guidance before UAC preferences close. Register here for Info Day

Kickstart Workshop at the University of Sydney and InspirationEd

Students and parents are invited to attend the free HSC Kickstart seminars at the University of Sydney, designed to provide expert guidance and practical strategies for navigating the HSC year with confidence.
Presented by senior HSC markers and qualified counsellors, the seminars will cover:
- Secrets to HSC success
- English tips and tricks
- Managing stress throughout the year
- Communication and support strategies for parents
- Understanding the ATAR
These sessions are a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from professionals who understand the HSC inside and out. Whether you're aiming for top marks or looking to support your child through the year, there's something for everyone.

Sydney Pharmacy First Nations Camp for Year 9 and 10 students
18 – 22 January 2026
This 4-day camp is a pathway to engage First Nations students in the opportunities and benefits of pursuing a career in pharmacy.
This program has the potential to build capacity of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples ready to enter their future profession of pharmacy - who may in turn make this important health service more accessible to Australia’s First Nations people.
Application forms must be submitted by 14 November 2025.

2026 Secondary Arts Education Program at the University of Sydney
Seymour Centre
Aimed at providing high-quality arts education for high school students, the Seymour Centre’s Arts Education Program offers a diverse array of events that speak directly to the NSW curriculum. Suitable for students in Stage 4 through to Stage 6 HSC, the program is a vibrant celebration of imagination, curiosity, and learning through the arts with workshops, symposiums and performances.
We would like to thank our network of career advisers and teachers for partnering with us throughout 2025. We wish you a safe and restful holiday break and look forward to reconnecting in 2026.
Please note that the University of Sydney will be closed from Saturday, 20 December 2025, and will reopen on Tuesday, 6 January 2026. During this time, the Domestic Future Students team will respond to inquiries related to our Semester 1, 2026 intake via the admissions.pathways@sydney.edu.au email account.
The Student Centre will also be open on business days, excluding public holidays, during the University’s close-down period. You can reach them at 1800 793 864 (1800 SYD UNI).
For all other inquiries, the team will be in touch at the earliest opportunity following the break.
