Pat Bergeson & Bruce Rowlin

Since 2022, The Waterworks has served as a gathering place for the community. Built in 1898, the historic venue is home to music, theatre, poetry, and a variety of other artistic endeavors.

EMMA Words & Music - First Coast Opera's The Mikado
Thursday, March 5th at 1 PM

Curtis Tucker from First Coast Opera will tell the story behind The Mikado, Gilbert & Sullivan’s topsy-turvy operetta. Free event.

 

A Classic Theatre presents Pen Pals
Fridays, March 6th & 13th 7:30 PM
Saturdays, March 7th & 14th 4 PM
Sundays, March 8th & 15th 2 PM

Pen Pals tells the story of an enduring decades-long friendship between two women who never meet face-to-face. Tickets are available at AClassicTheatre.org.

 

Friends of the Library presents Steel Rails to the Sunshine State
Thursday, March 12th at 6 AM

In this dynamic lecture, journey back to the Gilded Age and discover how Henry Flagler, co-founder of Standard Oil, transformed Florida’s coasts with his bold vision. Free event with registration required at sjcpls.org.

 

Sundays with SAMF - Aaron Lehrian: Where Jazz Meets Strings

Beauty for Ashes Benefit

Recognizing Outstanding Women in the Arts (ROWITA) Awards

The St. Johns Cultural Council will honor four women for their lifetime achievements and influence on arts and culture in St. Johns County. RSVP here.

 

Gamble Rogers Guitar Workshop
Saturday, March 21st at 2 PM

Pat Bergeson & Bruce Rowlin with demonstrate jazz guitar, how to create arrangements, harmony, chord substitutions, and improvisation. A suggested donation of $20 will benefit the YoungFolk program that supports aspiring musicians in the community.

Poets and poetry lovers are invited to celebrate creative writing and reciting at The Waterworks with the local poetry community.
