Partner Newsletter - volume 2Welcome to the 2nd Edition of the Speed You UP Young Entrepreneur Newsletter for our External Stakeholders. This newsletter covers the period from July 2021 to January 2022.The newsletter is published every 6 months and presents a range of updates from the Project’s Partners based in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK. Each piece of news is written in English as well as the native language of our Partners.
About SPEED You UP The aim of the Speed You UP programme is to deliver training about self-employment to young, unemployed people aged 16 to 25 in order to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial skills. The Partners together with coaches and teachers deliver training sessions about self-employment. Together with external stakeholders, they create entrepreneurial hubs both in secondary schools and in local communities helping young people in their journey to self-employment.Everyone involved works extremely hard to guide and support Speed You Up learners. All the Partner colleagues are very committed and passionate about the programme.We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our Partners for their contributions and for their continued involvement and commitment when working on the project.We hope you will enjoy the content of the newsletter with these exciting and inspiring updates.
Sint Niklaas
Colleagues from the Local Authority of Sint-Niklaas are part of the Department of Welfare, unit Education and unit Activation. They help young people at schools and from the local community to take part and play an active role in society.

Colleagues from the Belgium coastal town of Oostende are helping to develop the local economy by working on employment projects, retail and attracting new businesses.

Association des Centres Sociaux de Wattrelos (ACSW)
ACSW is the Association of Wattrelos Community centres. It consists of 3 community centres in different neighbourhoods and one healthcare service. It supports social development and citizens' initiatives. Our activities are related to the social inclusion, development and empowerment of our beneficiaries (both youth and adults).
