QA Cafe is proud to be sponsoring SharkFest’22 US! SharkFest brings together some of the most well-known experts in network security, troubleshooting, and packet capture analysis in one place to offer classes, discussions, and collaboration opportunities for everyone involved.
We’re developing this year’s esPCAPe group challenge competition - a contest that commits SharkFest attendees to the task of finding obscure clues embedded in a network packet trace. It lets participants flex their knowledge of pcaps and their investigation skills, and above all, it’s fun!

prpl Foundation opens Certification Working Group to promote quality prplWare implementations
Our work with the open-source gateway community expanded even further with the creation of the Certification Working Group at prpl Foundation. The group is spearheaded by our CTO Tim Winters (the working group chair), which will leverage CDRouter and open-source automation tools together to enable self-testing as a key element of prplWare certification.
The initial testing and certification program targets include:
- High-level API support from platforms;
- Low-level API and Board Support Package (BSP) deliverables;
- 3rd-party apps & services that exercise the High-Level API
prpl Foundation members are encouraged to join the working group and provide their input!
Hosted option for CloudShark Enterprise
CloudShark Enterprise is now available completely installed, configured, and hosted by us. This gives our customers all of the benefits of CloudShark without the need to procure or maintain their own resources. Contact us to find out more!
Parallel testing option for CDRouter
Earlier this year, we released our new parallel testing license option for CDRouter. Our users have tried and loved it! This option is an affordable way to get the most testing out of your automation environment when you purchase a CDRouter system - up to 5x more than before.
Looking forward
Over the summer, look for future updates on our continuing support for testing with the PassPort Automated Test Solution. We’ve taken our networking expertise to the smart-home market, creating an out-of-the-box test solution for smart-home products and endpoint CPE like smartTVs, set-top-boxes, and more.
