Click here Research NotesAUGUST 2024 Research information from the Office of the Vice President for Research for Brown faculty, grant-related staff, and students Tropical plant species are as threatened by climate change as widely feared, study confirmsTo measure the effect of climate change on plants in the Monteverde mountain region of Costa Rica, Brown researchers physically transplanted about 1,500 plants to sites with varying temperatures and aridity and monitored the plants every three months for three years.
