Staff recommendations...

Lenny Marks gets away with murder by Kerryn Mayne

"Suitable for anyone who enjoyed Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine, the book has a similar storyline and feel, and makes you wish for a happy ending for Lenny. It was an enjoyable, easy read."
~ Donna

Black duck: a year at Yumburra by Bruce Pascoe

"Australian knowledge holder, Bruce Pascoe, generously charts a year of life on his farm, Yumburra, home of Black Duck Foods. It’s a beautiful read that touches deeply on much that matters in life."
– Amanda

The Glass House by Anne Buist and Graeme Simsion

"Interesting characters, generous layout, and compelling interwoven narratives – which can lull the reader into a disarming comfort zone. Set in a contemporary Australian mental health unit, it’s a highly reflective read. "
~ Amanda

Children's recommendations...

'Tweet' by Morris Gleitzman

"It’s different, it’s not like any other book I’ve read. Interesting & hopeful, I’d give it 8/10"

Rex, 10yrs

'The Hidden Kingdom' by Tui T. Sutherland Wings Of Fire #3

"It's very dramatic! When you think you've stopped for a break you have to keep going and going because it pulls you in so much you just have to finish it"

Ted, 7yrs

'Possum Magic' by Mem Fox

"Because they have wheels on their lovely bicycle"

Mirjana, 3yrs
