This has important implications for policy makers - read more in our latest blog. Young Lives presented these research findings at the CSAE conference, held in Oxford in March. Read more in our Working Paper. Developing Round 7 - latest newsThe team continue to pull out all the stops to bring together Round 7 of our longitudinal study. With tracking now completed in all four study countries, the team are finalising the survey, incorporating feedback from a wide range of peers. Reflecting the current age of our two cohorts, now 21/22 and 28/29 years old respectively, the survey themes include labour market transitions, marriage and partner choices, as well as further investigation to estimate the impact of COVID-19 on education, employment and mental health. The survey will include specific topics per study country, for example the impact of conflict in Ethiopia, and the team are experimenting with new methods of collecting information using an Audio Self-Administered Questionnaire. Between now and the first field work in Peru in June, there remains much to do, including training enumerators and creating the field manuals and materials to support the questionnaire rollout. We’ll keep you updated next time!
