Condolences: Patricia Lynn Vasseur, May 2, 1946 – May 4, 2025

With sadness, we share that Pat Vasseur, former Director, Advancement, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025. From 2004-2014, Pat lead the School’s Advancement Department and was the force behind the Imagine the Possibilities capital campaign, which raised over $20 million to fund the first phase of the Campus Master Plan, including the construction of the Senior School and the Early Childhood Education Centre. We extend our deepest sympathies to Pat’s family and friends.

Reducing Food Waste: A Collaboration Between Spanish and Foods Students in Senior School

What if we could turn today’s Crofton House lunch leftovers into tomorrow’s inspiration? Walk into the Rix Foods Lab earlier this spring, and you’d have found students from both Foods and Spanish classes working side by side in a whirlwind of various vegetables, looking at ways to reduce food waste on campus, one dish at a time! Read more and access their bilingual recipe book on the blog.

From a successful ISEA Track Meet for Junior School athletes to varsity tennis becoming Zone Champions and earning a spot in provincials, alongside a provincials spot for the varsity soccer team, the Crofton Falcons teams have been busy the last two weeks! Read more on the blog.

A Year in Review - And a Special Thank You

At last week’s AGM, the PA celebrated a fantastic year of community connections and took the opportunity to recognize the contributions of several dedicated volunteers. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ruby Chang, Manager, Events & Rentals, the CHS Communications team, and the Facilities team for their ongoing support of PA initiatives.

A special shout-out goes to Euan McGhee, Specialist, Communications, for beautifully capturing these memories and creating this wonderful highlight video featuring moments from May 2024 (our last AGM) to the present. We hope you enjoy this short video!
