Click here INVITATION Sunset Social: Shaping Australia's Student Equity and Success Dear colleagues The National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education, Executive Director, Professor Shamit Saggar and I are delighted to extend an invitation to a special event to celebrate the work of the Centre at Curtin University. The Commonwealth Government funds the Centre's work to produce robust evidence with an aim to achieve better opportunities and outcomes for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Its work chimes with the Australian Universities Accord to be launched shortly. Please join us as we unveil its renewed mission towards fairness, accessibility, and success, working towards a shared vision for a nation in which no student is left behind. Your presence is highly valued, as we gather to celebrate a significant milestone that reflects the Centre’s commitment to growth, innovation, and continued excellence in equity. Held from 5.30-7.30pm on 21 February 2024 at the T.L. Robertson Library on our Bentley Campus, this event will be an opportunity for us to come together, share insights, and embark on a new chapter for student achievement. The occasion will be attended by distinguished leaders, as well as the Centre’s 2024 Equity and First Nations Fellows. We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a memorable event. Please register to confirm your attendance by 13 February 2024. Event details and registration link are included below. Best wishes Professor
