CRGV update

Unfortunately, we have to confirm a further three cases of cutaneous renal glomerular vasculopathy (often termed CRGV and sometimes known as Alabama Rot). The cases were from Moreleigh (Devon), Epsom (Surrey) and Devizes (Wiltshire).

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 248 since 2012, with 44 in 2020. For help recognising some of the signs and to see a map of confirmed cases, please click on the link below.

Oscar enjoys pain-free walks after visiting our Pain Management Clinic

Oscar was referred to AMVS to see our pain management specialist, Matt Gurney, after his owner, Linda, heard Matt on a Facebook live event hosted by Canine Arthritis Management (CAM). Matt has been a long-term supporter of CAM and was honoured to see Oscar in the Pain Management Clinic as a result.

Oscar, a 9-year-old dog, was struggling with lameness in one of his front legs and his owner wanted to ensure that she was doing everything possible to manage his pain, keep him mobile and maintain a sensible level of activity.
