To support Flinders researchers in preparing their applications, we’re hosting an exclusive workshop with Dr Andrew Walsh, Regional Director at Campus Plus, on ‘How to write a strong NIPHD grant application’. The session will provide an overview of the NIPHD program and walk through the assessment guidelines, sharing practical tips on how to align your proposal with the selection criteria and strengthen your application. Ten steps to academic writing success: An efficient (and enjoyable) strategy to write, submit and publish - 24 July, 9:30am-1pmMany students find the writing process daunting, often delaying their thesis or journal article until the last minute. This workshop introduces a structured 10-step framework designed to make academic writing more manageable and less stressful. Participants will learn strategies for starting early, writing in short, focused sessions, and refining their work through effective editing. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of the publishing process, greater confidence in your academic voice, and practical tools to support timely and high-quality submissions.
