This campaign is being delivered in partnership by Gloucester BID, City Safe, Gloucestershire Constabulary, the Gloucestershire Police & Crime Commissioner, and DeterTech, and Gloucester will be the first city in the UK to roll this out as a coordinated, city-wide approach. What is the Smart Water City campaign? Smart Water uses invisible forensic liquid to uniquely mark property. These markings are traceable, registered, and admissible as forensic evidence, making stolen items easier to recover and offenders easier to prosecute. By encouraging widespread adoption across city-centre businesses, the campaign creates a visible and powerful deterrent, sending a clear message that crime doesn’t pay in Gloucester. Pre-launch details Ahead of the official campaign launch in March, we’re inviting around 15 businesses to take part in a pre-launch day. 📅
Wednesday, 18 February
How to take part Places are limited, and we expect interest to be high. To register your interest and secure your place in the pre-launch, simply email marketing@gloucesterbid.org.uk or steve.lindsay@gloucestercitysafe.co.uk and we’ll add you to the list. |
