Allow Extra Time During Gate Link Project as We Build for a Better Future

Gate Link Replacement Project

After transporting passengers for over 5 million miles (equivalent to approximately 200 times around the Earth), the time has come to replace the Gate Link vehicles, tracks and electrical control equipment which transport passengers between Terminal A/B and Gates 70-99 and Gates 100-129.

This project is a phased, essential upgrade to ensure future reliability and enhance the passenger experience. It will require each of the Gate Link vehicles to be taken out of service in succession, limiting capacity for the following periods:

Gates 100-129

  • December 2025 – December 2026
  • Impacting Avelo and Southwest

Gates 70-99

  • December 2026 to October 2027
  • Impacting Air Canada, Air Transat, Bahamasair, BermudAir, Delta, Flair, Frontier, LATAM, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, Viva, Volaris and WestJet

During this time it may be necessary to take the Gate Link to the other Gate Area and then be transported between Gate Areas by bus. Therefore please allow additional time when arriving or departing MCO from these gates, and follow the directional signage, and information from our airport ambassadors.

You may not have realized yet, but there are only 104 more travel days until the New Year, so it's never too early to book your next trip, and of course, reserve your parking space during one of our busiest times of the year!

Thank you for your patience as we make these enhancements, and for making MCO - Your Florida Airport of Choice®.
