Student Representatives on the UHDRC
Phillip and Kristen are student representatives on the University for Higher Degree by Research Committee. The key issues for this committee are addressing HDR student matters and making sure students are equipped at the start of their degree, during their candidature and are able to
realise their degree completion in a way that is meaningful to them. The committee also discusses issues surrounding examination and how to support students throughout these processes. This governance committee shapes the University’s HDR policies and procedures that are informed by national standards. Phillip and Kristen are on the committee to represent students – please contact them if you have something you want to raise a student concern. You can also access the Office for Graduate Research
(OGR) to get help with any issues related to your study – they are available in the Registry Building just next to the ring road. HDR contacts
