MEMBERS UPDATE APRIL 2023

Hi Everyone,

We have now entered the second quarter of the year and it is going to go even faster with all the events coming up in the next few months. We opened registrations for our Pilbara Health Professionals Network Early Career Health Summit and the event sold out in four hours! See information below for this event if you would like to be placed on the waitlist.

Our network is growing and it's lovely to see our new members engaging and sharing events and resources with other network members.

Our aim is to provide rural and remote health professionals with better support and greater opportunities to network, upskill, share information and collaborate in a local supportive community environment.

As the Program Officer for the network, please let me know if you have any questions, or if I can assist you in promoting any education, news or events to the network.

Alisha

4 May 2023, 7.00pm to 8.30pm | Karratha

Ngurra Nyujunggamu – When the World Was Soft is a spectacular theatrical celebration of the rich culture of the Pilbara. This stunning, large-scale outdoor performance shares important creation stories from Yindjibarndi culture.

These compelling stories will be told through puppetry, projections, and specially composed music. They teach us important life lessons including the story of the Marrga, the powerful Creation Spirit who is embodied by the praying mantis, and lessons about looking after each other, greed, and the consequences of breaking cultural laws.

This is a free show but we kindly ask you register HERE so we are able to monitor capacity levels.
