MyGadigal Scholarship
We’re committed to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to access and succeed at the University of Sydney through our new MyGadigal Scholarship. Eligible students will automatically receive an $8,500 scholarship per year to support their university journey. There is no additional application required beyond the Gadigal Entry Program.
The MyGadigal Scholarship complements a range of support available to First Nations students, including the Gadigal Entry Program, Extended Bachelor's Programs, and the support offered through the Gadigal Centre.

Women in engineering scholarship and scheme
Women interested in studying engineering, computer science or project management at the University of Sydney can now apply for a Women in Engineering scholarship and gain access to an early conditional offer.
As part of a $2.5 million investment to support the next generation of women in STEM, the University is offering 300 scholarships, each valued at $10,000 or $5,000 for one year. Successful applicants will receive an early conditional offer with a reduced ATAR entry requirement.
Applications are assessed on a rolling basis, with successful applicants notified throughout the application period. Check your eligibility and apply now before Wednesday 30 September.
The University of Sydney's law and medicine webinars
Thinking about studying law or medicine? Join our live webinars to learn about courses, career outcomes and pathways. Get valuable insights and feel confident about your next steps towards university.
These are interactive online sessions where you’ll be able to speak directly with academics and course experts.
The sessions are designed to cover the content usually presented at Open Day law and medicine talks. There will be no medicine talks at Open Day, however, course advising and interactive experiences will remain on offer.

What's the deal with Dalyell? Introduction to the Dalyell Scholars Stream

The Dalyell Scholars Program at the University of Sydney is designed for high-achieving undergraduate students with an ATAR of 98 or above (or equivalent). It offers a rich academic experience through accelerated study options, advanced units, mentoring, and professional skill development.
But what does this mean for your young person—and how does it differ from a standard degree? Together, we’ll take a firsthand look at the unique advantages and opportunities this prestigious program provides for high-achieving students.
Topics will include:
• What the Dalyell Program is and how it differs from other degrees
• Enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom
• The Dalyell student experience
