This year, Indonesia will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the disaster that has completely changed the province. Even though billions of dollars in relief and reconstruction funds have been disbursed to rebuild the province, Aceh remained on the list of the poorest provinces on Sumatra island, with a poverty rate reaching almost 15%, higher than the national average of 9.36%. Poverty is not the only issue surrounding Aceh's recovery process post-tsunami. We hope to gain more insights from academics and experts on different topics. The Conversation Indonesia is calling academics and researchers focusing on the Aceh Tsunami to send their pitches so we can publish your piece in our special edition of the 20th anniversary of the Aceh Tsunami. Send your pitch here. Warmest, Ika Krismantari
