The Student Advisory Board (SAB) advocates for the needs of students in the School of Communication by serving as the student voice to the administration, representing the School to various constituencies, and generating and implementing programs and initiatives designed to enhance the student experience. ![]() HCOM Student gets first publicationMadison Murphy ’19 (M.S. ’21) recently had her first manuscript accepted for publication in the journal Communication Research Reports. The paper, "Testing the Personal Report of Communication Apprehension (PRCA-24) Ability to Predict Social Interaction: A Behavioral Test of the Predictive Power of the Communication Apprehension Measure" looks at how the PRCA-24, one of the most widely recognized measurement instruments in the field of Communication, can be used to predict real behavior in social settings.
