As we conclude the 2023-2024 school year, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your unwavering support and dedication. This year has been filled with remarkable achievements, both in and out of the classroom. Our students have grown academically and personally, developed their interests, and strengthened their relationships. Your involvement and partnership have been crucial in fostering a nurturing environment for our children. Together, we have built a community where every student feels valued and motivated to reach their full potential.

As we head into the summer break, I wish you and your families a safe and relaxing break. This is a time to recharge, explore new interests, and create lasting memories with your loved ones. Whether you are travelling, participating in summer programs, or simply enjoying some well-deserved rest, I hope you return refreshed and ready for the new school year. Thank you for your continuous support and commitment to our school community. Have a wonderful summer!

Summer Communication Dates and Information

Parents and guardians can expect to hear from the School four times over the summer with information to wrap up the current year and prepare for 2024-2025.

  • Communication 1 of 4 (June 11) focuses on a high-level overview of the 2024-2025 year and includes links to the 2024-2025 Parent & Student Handbook and September at a Glance calendar for Junior and Senior Schools.
  • Communication 2 of 4 (June 26) alerts parents and guardians to the release of student progress reports and provides details related to wrapping up the academic year. This message will also include information on the 2024-2025 co-curricular program and Junior School before- and after-school care.
  • Communication 3 of 4 (July 26) notifies the community that on August 1, MySchool will “flip” into a new year, requiring action from departing families. For returning families, this message includes the link to the Student Information Questionnaire. Anticipate completing this questionnaire in August.
  • Communication 4 of 4 (August 15, our official “Back to School” communication) links to detailed information intended to support all families through the first few weeks of school and beyond.

Year-End Celebration Thank You

The entire Crofton House community gathered to celebrate the end of another remarkable school year at our Year-End Celebration last Friday. Students, parents, siblings and staff came out to enjoy the wonderful weather, delicious treats and fun games - the claw machines and balloon twisting especially were huge hits! Thank you to the event chairs, Wenjuan Du and Chris Qiu, and all the parent volunteers for helping make the Year-End Celebration a big success! View the photo gallery here.
