Register of Radio Frequencies (RRF) - What is going on?In February 2022, the RRF Project kicked off a series of 8 workshops to showcase specific features of the new system, to the RRF User Experience working group. There has been a fantastic turn out for the 3 sessions held so far and we would like to say thanks to the working group members for their continued engagement and support. Work continues on the development and user acceptance testing (UAT) of the new system. To ensure the project team can get in touch with you regarding updates, training sessions and how to guides, please ensure your contact details are current. If you have a SMART login, we will be sending instructions on how to create a RealMe login, and link all your Client Accounts to this new login. If you would like to know more about the new Register of Radio Frequencies (RRF) system, you can contact the team at: RRF@mbie.govt.nz. Do you still need your licence to supply?Licences to supply are required to import and/or supply radio equipment by way of sale, exchange, lease or hire-purchase. If you have a licence that you don’t need any more, you may request the cancellation by e-mailing licensing@rsm.mbie.govt.nz and we can cancel the licence for you. |
