weight stigma, including: Session One 17 May 2023 – registration & details here ![]() RCSWA Skills Training Week for South West Students Some 40 penultimate year students from six Rural Clinical School of WA (RCSWA) sites gathered in Bunbury recently to develop their practical skills in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology and Urology. The students from Bunbury, Collie, Busselton, Bridgetown, Narrogin and Northam were put through their paces practicing suturing, plastering, cannulation, speculum examination and neonatal resus skills. Bunbury Academic Services Officer, Emma Cooper ensured all participants were well fed, while officers from the other sites assisted with
logistics, facilitation, and energy levels to help the students get the most out of this annual hands-on learning event. Friday 16 to Sunday 18 June 2023 | Aloft Hotel Perth This forum is part of the WA Country Health Service and Rural Health West Resident Specialist and Procedural GP Education Series. The one and a half day Rural Obstetrics and Gynaecology Forum, will include optional Friday workshops, small problem-based discussions, lectures and simulation sessions delivered concurrently and facilitated by experienced specialists. The forum will provide an opportunity to network with fellow colleagues.
