Welcome to the March newsletter

Dear
A warm welcome to our March newsletter.
Earlier this month Professor Charles Egbu shared a statement on behalf of Leeds Trinity University about the situation in Ukraine. Our thoughts and prayers are very much with the people of Ukraine and their families and friends. We stand in solidarity with all those affected. Read the statement.
March began with us welcoming alumnus Ryan Needham (Media, 2011) back to campus. Ryan is the bassist in Leeds rock band Yard Act, who recently reached no 2 in the UK album charts.
Ryan returned to campus in Horsforth before heading out on tour to America, Canada and Europe. We were delighted to conduct an interview with him in the TV studio, finding out more about his time at Leeds Trinity and how he has found the meteoric rise of Yard Act. Find out more.
Watch the full interview with Ryan, on our YouTube channel.

Nostalgia
Before heading off to the Awards Dinner, we were delighted to show former member of staff Dan Baldasera the TASC running top he gave us, which we had framed.
Dan is one of the original staff members from 1966. He is pictured alongside alumna Jane Tesseyman (Home Economics, 1992).
