Big duct!

Our Wombwell team has considerable expertise in the manufacture of stitched & welded ducting for the mining & tunnelling industries etc. Most recently, they have been making some particularly large ducting for a UK client - 1255mm Diameter x 6m long- for use in heating & cooling.

Lintels Lab

Our Lintel team at Barugh Green continues to develop our quality control & testing facilities; our most recent acquisition is a state of the art test rig which is on site & up and running.

Cawthorne Office

Work continues on our new Cawthorne offices - we're on track to move in during March.

Factory too...

A major redevelopment of Cawthorne site has been underway for the last few months involving the construction of new buildings & the refurbishment of substantial parts of the site. The aim is to significantly increase the footprint of our fast-growing Plastic Ducting/Drainage business & to create the space for new product developments.

Youth Zone

Naylor has become a capital supporter of Barnsley Youth Zone, lending early support to this initiative to support the town’s young people. As a capital supporter, Naylor is contributing towards the building costs of the new Youth Zone.

Security fencing - new website!

Our security fencing business continues to grow, offering a range of mesh & pallisade fencing. And our new website is now live!

Lintel staff changes

It’s all change down south: we were sorry to see Nick Pratt retire after 9 years of distinguished service… but are delighted to welcome Nicky Phillips who joins our Lintel team as Business Development Manager (South). Welcome also to Billy Fairhurst who joins us as Business Development Manager for our Precast division.

Congratulations to Chris Simpson who is retiring after 23.5 years as MD of Naylor Technical Solutions and predecessor Schauenburg.

Dairy Tech

Naylor Precast will be exhibiting at DairyTech UK on 7 February at Stoneleigh Park. We will be showcasing our liquid holding tanks for use in above or below ground liquid storage.

Christmas Jerseys

As in previous years some truly horrific Xmas jerseys were worn across our sites... raising £246 for local charities.

Football anyone?

Two Naylor 6-a-side football teams participated in the first Be Well@Work Barnsley Business Football tournament. The Wombwell team didn’t make it out of the group stages but the Concrete team had more success, making it through to the quarter finals; well done to Troy, Masimba, Calum, Keaton, Matthew & Keenan.

Come on your Bucks...!

As in previous years, Naylor sponsored a match of National League Buxton FC- for the game vs Warrington Town. The Naylor contingent comprised representatives of both Naylor Drainage & Naylor Concrete Products…& a good time was had by all.
