The Rise of the Micro-influencer

Roughly defined as having under 10,000 followers, what these influencers lack in numbers, they make up for in engagement and trust with their fans. A smaller following allows fans to feel more connected to an influencer and trust their recommendations because they feel more genuine and personal. This trust often results in higher conversion rates which is why they are becoming increasingly popular among marketers.
