Calling all music venues in Gloucester 📢 We're gearing up for Gloucester's Americana Music Festival and we're looking for more music venues and pubs that play live music to get involved. The dates are Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th October and we would love more city centre venues to take part. If you would like to be involved, let us know here. Gloucester Goes Retro - Promote your business! The 10th Gloucester Goes Retro is fast approaching - 23rd August! For 2025, we have added more dress-up competitions to encourage participation from businesses and attendees and we’d love you to take part. Exclusive to the businesses in the city centre, there will be categories for Best Dressed Window & Best Dressed Team. Winners will receive an award and additional publicity across the Gloucester Goes Retro marketing platforms (GGR’s website and socials, Visit Gloucester and Gloucester BID). Email us at info@gloucesterbid.org.uk if you would like to enter. Save the Date - Gloucester History Festival 2025 The Gloucester History Festival is back and taking place from 6th to 21st September. The city will come alive with talks, exhibitions, and entertainment. The festival will feature over 100 speakers, including prominent figures like Frank Skinner, Alice Roberts, Michael Heseltine and David Olusoga. Tickets are on sale now, and the festival offers both in-person and livestream options. The festival also includes Gloucester Day, which traditionally marks the launch of the festival on Saturday 6th September. Find out more here. |
