2026-2027 Faculty Grant for Research, Scholarship, & Creative Activity Open! Our office is accepting proposals for the 2026-2027 Faculty Grant for Research, Scholarship, & Creative Activity (FGRSC). This internal grant provides competitive, merit-based support for research, scholarly, and creative activities in humanities, fine arts, performing arts, social sciences, education, and other related disciplines. New Research Exploration Award Proposals due February 16, 2026 at 12pm (Noon) The New Research Exploration Award is a one-time funding opportunity to support faculty in pursuing new research, scholarly, and creative directions. Applications for the Grant Resubmission Support are Open! The Grant Resubmission Support provides critical funding to faculty to strengthen previously reviewed but unfunded grant proposals for resubmission. Nature Masterclasses: Support for Research Scholarly Activities Staying ahead of your research with a demanding schedule can be tough, but Nature Masterclasses understands and may be able to help. As a member of Chapman University, you already have Nature Masterclasses on-demand available at no cost to you! To benefit from courses on the platform, you don't need to complete entire courses. Simply choose the specific modules or lessons that align with your immediate needs and interests. AI and Agents in Medicine - Bridging Health Systems, Communities, and Patient Journeys Across the Lifespan Submissions for scientific abstracts are now open for the Third Annual Pediatric & Lifespan Data Science Conference 2026! The abstract submission deadline is Monday, February 16, 2026. Chapman Authors Can Now Publish Open Access Research for Free or Discounted Rates in Sage Journals The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to announce that Chapman University has joined a three-year read-and-publish agreement with Sage. This agreement allows Chapman-affiliated authors to publish their articles Open Access in Sage’s journals at no or reduced cost to themselves for articles accepted between January 2026 and December 2028. Leatherby Libraries Renews American Chemical Society (ACS) Read-and-Publish Deal The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to announce the continuation of its read-and-publish agreement with the American Chemical Society (ACS) from 2026 to 2028. This agreement allows Chapman-affiliated authors to publish their articles Open Access (OA) in hybrid ACS journals by covering the Article Processing Charges (APCs) for Chapman authors’ research articles that those journals have accepted for publication.
