PEAF Conference 2025

The energy at the Property & Evidence Association of Florida (PEAF) Educational Conference in Orlando was incredible! We had a great time sharing how unclaimed phones can be more than just items gathering dust—they can save lives. The response was overwhelming, with dozens of agencies excited to learn how to donate devices securely.

Kissimmee Police Chief Charles Broadway delivered a powerful keynote reminding everyone that property and evidence techs are vital to justice and closure. His 9/11 story highlighted the emotional weight of the smallest sentimental items left behind.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to those who discovered that phones don’t have to be destroyed to make a difference.

Safe Alliance & 911 Cell Phone Bank

We’re proud to partner with Safe Alliance (Charlotte, NC) to provide secure, donated phones to vulnerable persons in need.

Austin Police Strategic Planning Efforts

Stakeholders in the Greater Austin area recently met for strategic planning to further discussions of opening a Family Justice Center. These meetings, with dozens of agencies and local officials in attendance, were used as an opportunity to spread the 911 Cell Phone Bank’s mission and ongoing partnership with APD Victim Services.

CSPD launches phone bank campaign to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault

Through the "Phone It Forward" campaign, in partnership with 911 Cell Phone Bank, the department will collect used and broken phones from community members. These devices will then be distributed to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, providing them with a vital lifeline.

Youth violence affects countless families and communities, with over 700,000 young people treated for assault-related injuries each year. During National Youth Violence Prevention Week, the 911 Cell Phone Bank took action by providing at-risk youth with secure communication tools.
