WEBINAR: A systemic change approach to developing a modern health and human service workforce The health care and social assistance sector is Australia’s largest employing industry with the fastest growing workforce, yet faces widely acknowledged challenges. Victoria’s policies for greenhouse gas emissions reduction should reflect the need to protect vulnerable groups from the impacts of climate change. An event for students planned for Social Sciences Week 2022 will involve BSL’s Deborah Warr as co-chair and Andrew Thies as a panellist with other practitioners, students and academics reflecting on their work and why they are passionate about the social sciences. This is part of our partnership with the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Melbourne. Event co-hosts are Nesam McMillan, Deputy Head of School Partnerships, SSPS, and Stella Koritsas, Head of Research at Scope. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University (ANU) and a Bachelor of Theology from the Australian College of Theology (Ridley College), and has completed the Executive Fellows Program at the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG). Ismo has wide and deep experience in public policy, research and programs, having worked for Commonwealth and state governments and in the international development sector.
