Additional Needs Support

Dear Friend

It is wise to take care of our wellbeing. There is power in positive thinking, having an attitude of gratitude boosts our mental health, giving words to our fears, sharing with people who listen well and being real: all these things are actually good for us and help us develop the resilience we need to be those who get going when the going gets tough.

Below you will find three articles to inspire and encourage you. The first features stories of parents who have benefited from the Care for the Family befriending service. The second offers a technique to reduce anxiety and the third features a small, but growing, charity that seeks to offer hope and therapy to families of children with additional needs in the London area.

Kind regards

Nicola Watson
