New 'Love It Better' Campaign Encourages Thoughtful Summer Travel
Ahead of the busy summer season, the Don't Love It To Death (DLITD) team has launched Love It Better, the latest campaign in the destination stewardship initiative encouraging visitors to travel responsibly and deepen their connection with Whistler. Through practical tips on respecting nature, supporting local businesses, exploring beyond the busiest times and helping care for the environment, the campaign aims to
inspire more meaningful, lower-impact travel experiences.
As part of the campaign, a new short-form video series features four British Columbians with strong connections to their communities, wildlife and the natural environment, sharing how they explore with intention and give back to the places they love. Discover more about the campaign and six simple ways to help protect Whistler for future generations on the Whistler Insider blog.

Fall in Love with Whistler
Romance doesn't have to mean a beach resort or a European city break. With its alpine lakes, dramatic mountain scenery, luxury accommodation and year-round adventures, Whistler offers a romantic getaway built around shared experiences in the outdoors.
Couples can paddle glacier-fed lakes, hike to panoramic viewpoints, unwind with a spa experience or share mountaintop meals overlooking the Coast Mountains. From heart-racing adventures like ziplining and whitewater rafting to leisurely strolls through ancient forests, afternoons spent exploring the Village and evenings discovering award-winning restaurants and cocktail bars, Whistler balances adventure and relaxation in every season.
The destination's romantic appeal has even caught the attention of filmmakers, with Whistler serving as a key filming location for Netflix's Age of Attraction. The Whistler Insider blog has since curated a two-day itinerary inviting visitors to recreate many of the show's filming locations while discovering the authentic experiences that make the destination memorable.
Whether celebrating an anniversary, planning a proposal or simply escaping together, Whistler offers couples the chance to disconnect from everyday life, reconnect with each other and fall in love with the mountains.
