Wrapping up 2024 – A year of Wellbeing!

What a year 2024 has been! Over the last year we have seen an amazing focus on staff wellbeing here at Flinders and we are incredibly proud of everything that we have achieved together. Highlights worth celebrating include:

• The official launch of Thriving@Flinders, promoting staff wellbeing with a variety of activities, events and information
• The launch of Metlife 360Health in partnership with UniSuper to support members health and wellbeing
• Our Campus Activation initiative provided a full calendar of activities – Thrive festival, a movie night, festivals of food, HMRB activation and psychological safety to name a few
• The introduction of menopause awareness sessions for both managers and staff to promote awareness within Flinders University
• The Professional Development calendar provided all staff with access to a range of wellbeing development opportunities

End of Year Staff Event

A big thank you to all staff who came along to the end of year celebrations on 22 November. It was a fantastic afternoon of fun, crafts, Mario Kart and even magic tricks, despite the heat! To see some of the pictures from the day, please click here.

If you are a UniSuper member, don’t forget that you (and your family) have access to the free telehealth services provided by MetLife 360Health. This includes nutrition, fitness, mental health, and ask a GP services. You can learn more about these offers here.
