Dear Friends,

As we look toward the Fall semester, I am grateful for the ways God continues to work through the Dallas Baptist University community. From faculty investing in the growth of their students to alumni faithfully serving in their communities, DBU continues to be a place where faith and learning come together to prepare servant leaders for their callings.

In this August issue of University Hill, we highlight how our adjunct professors are preparing for the semester and explore cultures through DBU's growing International Culture Collection. We are excited to welcome our students back to campus and continue creating opportunities for learning, connection, and growth.

We also recognize Patriots who are learning, serving, and leading. From Professor Ivy Koval’s work developing rehabilitation curriculum to our Kinesiology students preparing for successful careers, DBU continues to make an impact. We celebrate alumnus Chip Luter’s new pastoral role and Reagan Ratcliff’s Jake Trussell Award, recognizing his excellence in broadcasting.

Thank you for being part of the DBU family and for your continued support of our mission. I pray that this Fall semester will be a time of growth, discovery, and faithful service as we continue preparing students to lead with purpose for the glory of God.
