Dear Alumni,
Welcome to the ICE newsletter, which keeps you up-to-date with news, events and opportunities specifically tailored for alumni of the Institute of Childhood and Education (and all educational courses prior to its formation).
On 5 October we proudly celebrated World Teachers Day and on the same day we launched our Trinity Trains Teachers initiative. This project highlights and celebrates our inspirational alumni who have flourished as teachers, classroom assistants, education specialists and in many other roles.
We now have a Trinity Trains Teachers webpage, where you can access information about ongoing support, advice, further learning opportunities, supporting us and more.
If you would like to contribute to these pages or have any feedback we'd love to hear from you.

What makes Leeds Trinity special?
There is something very special about Leeds Trinity and that often means students do more than one course with us.
Hannah Crooks initially studied Early Childhood Studies in 2017 and then MSc Psychology (Conversion) in 2018. She has since taken things one step further as she is now a lecturer at the University! Hannah has shared her thoughts on why so many students stay on and undertake further learning with us. Read her blog.

Stuart follows his passion for teaching history
It was great to hear from Stuart Tiffany (Primary Education, 2010) recently. As well as continuing his teaching, he has forged his own career as a trainer, consultant and writer in his passion for teaching primary history.
His website, Mr T does Primary History, offers a range of resources and opportunities for learning primary history.
"I reduced my teaching hours and started writing resources and this has turned into a full-time business which continues to surprise me! Now, I teach at one lovely school on a casual contract and spend most of my time on primary history work."
Read Stuart's update.
