A Look Back at 2025

This year we celebrate 35 years in the safari world!

While 2024 was the year of big growth, 2025 was the year of tweaks, polish and "let's make that even better" – a year of elevating the NTS experience.

Here's what stood out for us this year:

We've always known our consultants are brilliant – this year, we made sure they had the adventures to match.

This year, we’ve sent our team on a whirlwind of educational trips across Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. After all, someone has to test the sundowner decks, inspect the pool loungers and see if the elephants really do wander through camp... all in the name of staying properly up to date, of course.

These trips gave our consultants fresh insight, new inspiration and plenty of stories to share.

We’ve added more vehicles, upgraded existing ones and made sure each car is kitted out and fine-tuned to take on our Namibian roads.

Whether it is the Toyota Fortuner, Land Cruiser or one of our fully kitted camping vehicles, each addition brings us closer to our mission: offering one of Namibia's most reliable and comfortable safari fleets.

Giving back remains one of the things we're most proud of and this year is no exception.

• Through Namib Sky Community Trust, our monthly contributions continued to support children's education in remote desert communities.
• With the DRC Women’s Community Project, we work with the wonderfully talented women who make beautiful handicrafts for our guests – everything from bags to beadwork and more.
• And in one of our biggest contributions this year, we donated a Combi to TASK - a wonderful community project “fighting hunger in Namibia” by helping to feed underprivileged children. The vehicle will help staff and volunteers travel to and from the project, as well as transporting meals and collecting food supplies for the soup kitchen.

These partnerships remind us that travel is also about community upliftment and leaving things a little better than we found them.

If 2025 was the year of refining, 2026 is already shaping up to be the year of expansion, creativity and new possibilities. One of the projects we're most excited about? We've bought land close to Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport where we will be developing a brand-new NTS vehicle depot and guest base. Soon, travellers coming off their long-haul flights will step into a comfortable, welcoming area designed to make their arrival smoother and more pleasant.
