2021 Legal Victories In 2006, Clifton Jones was wrongfully convicted of involuntary manslaughter and child abuse based on the faulty forensic science of Shaken Baby Syndrome. On April 15, 2021, Clifton was released after losing 15 years, wrongfully incarcerated. For details on Clifton's case, click here. In 2009, Juan Bautista was wrongfully convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to 40 years to life.
