Hello my lovely friends,

Spring has arrived and with it comes the opportunity for new beginnings.

I love this time of year as we transition from winter to spring. The warm sunshine and the gentle rain gives life to the earth. 

As we watch the old die away and the new bloom, nature itself reveals the transformative power of God. 

The transformation that takes place when we rendezvous with Jesus will lead to total abandonment of who we once were. (It’s not just a healing process to fix us.) 

Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, we become a new creation and experience a spiritual metamorphosis from death to life.

Allowing Jesus to enter our soul is much like the process of Spring Cleaning.

There needs to be a deep cleansing of the entire space. The old things must be thrown out to make room for the new. 

Jesus gives us beauty for ashes, swapping out our dead ways for His way of life.

What are some things that we can swap with God? 

We give Him our burdens, He gives us His rest. We give Him our chaos, He gives us His peace that surpasses understanding. We give Him our fears and He gives us His Truth and Love.

The list can go on and on… 

Over the years of being in relationship with Jesus, I have surrendered and swapped out so many of my shameful and painful pieces. 

I gave God my hurt and anger, and He replaced it with His comfort and kindness. 

I gave him my insecurities and control in exchange for His sovereignty and confidence. 

I can speak from experience that there is nothing more incredible than swapping lunch with Jesus. 

I want to encourage you today to allow God to Love you. Most of us view God as an angry and distant being in the sky, who is waiting to strike us down when we mess up. 

This, my friends, is a deep lie.

The truth is, God is good and He loves you!!

God created us for a relationship with Him and one another.

When you allow Jesus into your heart, He will begin to do a deep cleaning of the soul, that will eventually manifest in every area of your life. 

There is Freedom and Peace that can only be experienced through Jesus. Once you are set free, life will never be the same. 

I pray that this message reaches deep into your soul and opens the chambers of your heart that are in need of a Spiritual Spring Cleaning. 

There are old and dead things that we must discard in order to make room for what is new and full of life.
