December 2022 - January 2023

Summer is a time to unwind, catch up, explore and renew: Coffs Harbour Libraries offer a place where you can do all that.

Drop into your local, air-conditioned library to explore all the free resources you can access with your library card, plus streaming services such as Beamafilm and Freegal Music and ebooks such as ComicsPlus and cloudLibrary.

The kids will love being involved in the Summer Reading Club with the chance to win one of Penelope Pratley’s beautiful books. There will be fun, creative activities for kids to participate in each of the library branches, find the details in this newsletter.

While the kids are busy, select some books, e-books, audiobooks, mags, DVDs or CDs for yourself.

Did you or someone you know visit Woolgoolga Adventure Village?

If you haven’t yet discovered the Coffs Coast Heritage blog, now is a great time to check it out. Local studies librarian, Debbie Campbell, regularly updates the blog with interesting stories on the history of the Coffs Harbour region, just like this one about Woolgoolga Adventure Village.

Heading into the summer tourist season we thought this story might bring some childhood nostalgia for some of our readers.
