My name is Keith Weber, and I have the privilege of serving as the new Associate Dean of the School of Communication this year. Before officially welcoming you to the 24-25 academic year in Chapman's School of Communication, I want to express our gratitude to Dr. Andrew Moshier. Dr. Moshier served as the School of Communication Dean for the past 3 academic years and was an amazing steward of our academic home. Under his guidance, the School of Communication continued to grow in students, faculty, staff, and programs. If you had the opportunity to meet Dr. Moshier, I am sure you would agree that he is a true gentleman. It has been one of the watershed moments of my academic career to have learned from him. Thank you again, Drew! I only hope that I can do this office justice after witnessing your management style. Welcome to the 24-25 academic year at Chapman University! I attended many of the pre-semester events, and I believe that our School of Communication has really gone above and beyond to kick this year off right. The excitement around campus is palpable, and our faculty and staff look forward to meeting our new students and reconnecting with our returning students. My advice to all of you is to take advantage of the dedication and commitment of our faculty and staff! How can you do this?
Finally, welcome (or welcome back) to Orange and your home in the Chapman family. Having worked at other universities, I can tell you THIS is a special place. Feel free to visit me in Doti 202.
