Building Consents update – July 2022

We're improving our online building consent services

We will be making a change to the Online Services Portal on 1 August 2022 that will allow you to complete the application form for a building consent (or PIM) online. The entering of your application details directly into Online Services has benefits for you and Council.

This means you won’t have to submit a separate application form with your application for a new building consent (or PIM).

A PDF or Word version of the application form will still be available for those wishing to submit applications in hardcopy. An  application form will still be required for an application for an amendment to a granted building consent submitted through the Online Services Portal.
