Mayor Kim Wheatley

From the Mayor

I am honoured to be elected Mayor of Ku-ring-gai. It’s a real privilege and I’m keen to get things done for our community. My priority is to understand what matters to you in terms of the projects and services we deliver. I look forward to leading the Council and working with my colleagues to make Ku-ring-gai an even better place to live.

Have you seen the Sculpture Trail at the Wildflower Garden? The artworks on display this year are certainly spectacular, with many deserving of the People’s Choice award. Make sure you check them out and cast your vote.

Twilight Concert in the Park is coming up next month and this year’s INXS tribute is going to rock Wahroonga Park. Grab a picnic rug and your best mates and enjoy this fun, free event. You can find out more on our website.

While you have the calendar out, make sure you mark the date for the Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival. The festival will celebrate its 12th anniversary on Sunday 25 October. There will be live music, food from around the world and more than 30 wineries. Council is proud to support these and many other events happening in the local area.

Have an amazing weekend everyone.
