Season's greetings from your Community BoardMessage from the ChairKia ora koutou, It's been another busy year with many exciting developments in our area. A big highlight from the last 12 months was the opening of the new Kohinga St Albans Community Centre, which was celebrated at a fabulous event in April. The Long Term Plan 2021-31 was adopted in June and includes some significant developments for our area, including a new youth facility in Papanui, repairs to Sheldon Park's netball courts, and the rebuild of a community facility in Shirley Road, as advocated for by our Board. The challenges of COVID-19 have continued this year and I'm sure like me you will be looking forward to a much-needed break over Christmas. Do take care over the holiday period, particularly if you are travelling. Ngā mihi matakuikui o te wā nei – season's greetings. Stay together, look after one another.
