Come along to the Avonside Drive stopping drop-in sessionAs part of the ongoing development of the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor, Christchurch City Council is proposing to stop some sections of Avonside Drive (pictured above after rain) and Kerrs Road that go through the regeneration area. To find out more about the road stopping and the City to Sea Pathway, come along to our drop-in session at the Avon Rowing Clubrooms, Kerrs Rd, on Monday 20 September between 6pm and 7:30pm. Officially ‘stopping’ roads doesn’t mean they’re automatically closed to all traffic. You’ll still be able to use the roads until we’re ready to start constructing the City to Sea Pathway.
