Starting last week and continuing this week, you’ll see fencing up, employee parking and job shacks added to the site, and materials start to arrive. At times you may find traffic is slowed because of a delivery. Or you may come across a closed sidewalk. In that case, an alternate route will be clearly marked. Underground and electrical excavation is planned for mid to late April. Footings will be poured in early May. You may notice noise during the workday if you work in a building near the construction site. Construction will adhere to Clark County’s 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. quiet hours for the most part. The exception is pouring concrete this summer. If the weather turns hot, concrete has to be poured as early as possible, and the crew would get a waiver from the county for this exception.
