Child, Inc. is saving lives in Delaware“Many of the survivors who come into the shelter have been stripped of their connections with others. Their abusive partner may intentionally keep them from having communication with people outside of the relationship to hide the abuse. When they enter the shelter and we can provide them with a 911 Cell Phone Bank emergency phone, they experience a profound sense of appreciation and empowerment. These devices enable our clients to reconnect with
the world they were once disconnected from, opening the pathway towards safety, independence, and success." - Diedra Harper, Associate Director for DV Shelter Services, Child, Inc.
The 911CPB is grateful to be part of the support network. Every device donated helps someone take their next step toward safety. Help someone regain control of their life. Donate unused/unclaimed devices today. 👉 911cellphonebank.org

Community members were encouraged to donate unused personal electronic devices — smartphones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, iPads, and more — whether working or broken. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the campaign collected 34 phones and 7 tablets, according to Stephanie Garcia, Crisis Counselor with the Raleigh Police Department. Visit phoneitforward.us to host a Phone It Forward campaign in your community or place of business.
What will your organization do this year to give back? This Giving Season, we’re encouraging supporters to plan now to expand that impact by collecting unused phones from within their company, or even inviting the local community to take part.
