SUNDAY FEBRUARY 11, 2024

A whole-hearted 'hello' to everyone who has recently joined us, and 'welcome back' to those who have stayed on: You have signed up to be among the first to receive event updates and opportunities to participate in what promises to be the hottest, summer street party in 2024!

Victoria's Pride statewide festivities are set to kick off in November with an exciting line-up of regional activities, culminating in the renowned one-day street party extravaganza, located in the heart of the iconic Gertrude and Smith Street precinct on Sunday, February 11, 2024.

We were amazed by the passion and creativity exhibited by local traders in 2023 and look forward to working with you again to make this next event even more spectacular. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared their notes and feedback; we value your input and have taken on suggestions where possible.

There are some important changes to note about planning outdoor activities during this event. To maintain a safe and enjoyable event for all, traders must register an expression of interest to host street-based activities here. All applications will be reviewed.

We encourage you to share this email with your team members. For questions, suggestions, or to chat about your ideas, reach out to the team at vicpride@midsumma.org.au!

Stay tuned: we'll be sending updates every 2-3 weeks as details unfold.

In Search of Unique Spaces

Vicky P is always on the lookout for distinctive spaces to help connect the streetscape with the event program, finding ways to highlight the precincts unique charm.

  • Do you have a rooftop garden visible from the street?
  • A large window for performances?
  • Perhaps a spare room that could host artists as they prepare?

If this sounds like something you can offer, please reach out to us at vicpride@midsumma.org.au!
