60% of the young people who participated in the Young Lives pilot in the Tigray region of Ethiopia, reported that a friend or family member had been seriously injured, had disappeared, or had died as a result of the conflict. Collecting information about these experience is very challenging.  To the best of our knowledge, Young Lives is the first study to asses and use ACASI to collect personal experiences in a conflict setting.
