New Inpen & Guardian 4 sensor

Both the Medtronic Inpen and Guardian 4 sensor have recently been approved for use in Australia. As yet, these two have not been added to the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS).

Understanding your experiences

Our researchers want to hear about your experiences parenting a child with type 1 diabetes. If you are a caregiver of a child living with diabetes aged 10 years or younger, we would love to hear from you.

Oral insulin study

Our researchers would like to find out whether oral insulin is useful in T1D management and is safe for use in individuals with T1D. We are looking for participants aged 16 – 25 years to be involved in the 12-week study.

Teaching kitchens success

Did you watch our Teaching Kitchens news story on Nine News Perth recently? The wonderful Teaching Kitchens program - an Australian first -  was an innovative cooking program run out of PCH and Telethon Kids Institute that provided practical cooking skills to teenagers living with T1D.
