Introducing DEECA

From 1 January 2023, Earth Resources Regulation will become part of the new Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA). The new Minister for Energy and Resources is Lily D'Ambrosio.

DEECA will consolidate oversight of Victoria's resource-based sectors and, through the new climate action portfolio, drive a greater focus on emissions reduction opportunities and adaptation.

We wish readers a happy, safe festive season and look forward to continuing our work in 2023 as part of DEECA.

Wishing you a safe and happy 2023, Seasons greetings!
