We are more than just a little bit excited about the new website - Boora Mugga Beef. What is this 'Boora Mugga' you ask? Well, this small family-owned business can supply beef directly from their gorgeous farm to you! You can even choose your own happy moo-cow { if you can bare looking into their beautiful big eyes that is }. Being brought up on a very small hobby farm where we ate our own cows, we are very excited about the prospect of having farm-fresh meat again :)

As you would be aware by now, Facebook has forced businesses to change to the new Timeline format. Personally we are very excited about the changes, and can see the possibilities of it working very well. We, like a lot of other businesses, invested a lot into our Facebook page, and have had to change pretty much everything. We think this is a good lesson that you shouldn't base your business around Facebook, and highlights the importance of having your own website that you can control.

We were approached by a Sydney marketing company to design a logo for a brand called Honest Apples. This project came about by some terrible weather down south where the apple crops were damaged, making the apples a little 'bruised' on the outside, but still yummy on the inside. This Honest brand will then roll out Honest Oranges and so on. Keep an eye out in the stores for these Honest Apples!

We have been doing some design work for Kumato Tomatoes, educating people about their yummy-ness { through brand awareness }, and helping people fall in love with their taste.

Bella Magazine do a fantastic job encouraging young women to be who they are – not what mainstream media wants them to be. We were recently asked to be involved in a 'competition' where a Bella reader can design the next cover of the magazine. The winner, not only gets their design printed, but also gets work experience with Black Canvas! We're very excited to see the designs roll in!
